Bowling, Pooling, Movie with class! + Comical Friday!

Went to Ehub with class for class bonding activities on Thur!
Supposed to watch The Haunting at Connecticut, but quite a lot of people backed out. Hahaa.

In the end, only Nisah, Suaidah and I went.
Went to bowl and play pool first before the movie.

*More pics to be posted up!

Group pic, but missing a few persons who went off earlier!
Comical Pic at the Neoprint machine! Haha.
LOTS MORE to be posted up, if I have the time!

Got a news about one of my classmates, that's he going for a major op coming Wednesday, and the class would be doing a card for him.
It was only on Fri morning, that we realised what's the op he's going for. It was actually an op for his brain, he's got a brain tumor.

    For my wonderful, comical Friday:
School and sports with class was as usual.
Quite a few people actually helped out with the making of the card! :D And I'm glad about it.

Met An after sports with class to go swimming! And, from then, it was when things and situations suddenly become so comical!

First, the locker we wanted to use to keep our stuffs didn't seem to work AT ALL. When the coins are slotted in, they came out again and again.
We wasted like 10mins there trying it over and over again, before we decide to change to another locker somewhere else.
Second, the bus we took to Cell went the wrong direction, and it made a whole big turn at Simei, and we were like almost late!
The clouds we saw when we're reaching Tanah Merah area. SUPER NICE!

Third, when Jia Hui suggested where to eat after Service on Sat, she said "Go eat Mr Chicken.", and I heard "Sit beside Chicken."

Forth, after fellowshipping, we went to take bus home, and the group of JH, WA, Laurel and I began to chase the bus that came, and the girls were like running our 2.4km, but this is not so for Laurel!

And on the bus, WA was like wanting to listen to music from her phone. She put on the earpiece, and played it! "afjdhga!", she didn't plug in the earpiece with the phone!

SERIOUSLY, how funny and comical can things be?
    Had lots of good laughs.

    My Eclipse Wednesday.

I thought something was wrong with blogger. Had been wanting to blog, but blogger just didn't seem to work. :S

    SOLAR ECLIPSE :

Laming around with my classmates :
    WE ARE ROCKERS! Wo-HOO~!
'Cos a lot of people brought Hoodie Jacket to school that particular day (but not all are in the pictures. They're too shy!). Haha.
Look at Tim's expression. It was sort of candid.
We're supposed to act like it's freezing cold. Haha.

After school, went to have lunch at nearby Mac, and seriously had a good time laughing.
Had a super boring talk after it.
Though I think the 'Q&A'(do you really call 'that' Q&A session?) was quite ok, 'cos at least, it aroused a little of my attention.

Had a good time SNACKING refreshments after the talk, went home with Huan, and were discussing about the Walk For Children that's on this coming Sunday, at Chinese Garden. And, we decided to go for it! :D

    A MEANINGFUL EVENT.

    Monday, July 20, 2009
This week has been a very hectic and fulfilling week.
In addition, it's like a shower-of-blessings week for me as well! :D
Was super financially blessed by my aunt and friends all over!

    My belated birthday bag!

    From Mar and Hui!
They're cute to put a birthday card into the bag when I'm not looking! Really sweet of them! :D:D

Some quite cute pics to share!
We were fans of teletubbies back then! My aunt always buy Triplets clothes for us.
Don't you think my sis look a little like Zoe Tay from 双子星 with this hairstyle?

My dad's new safety shoes! He's got huge feet!

I've always told myself to learn to appreciate the people around me, the environment I'm in; to be thankful about situations that I go through.

Be happy in the simple things of life.
That's the way to my life, my living.

Only then can you really live a more fulfiilled, more happening, more enjoyable life.
    - Or, would you want your life to always be at the bottom of the valley, and you will need a long long time to crawl or climb back again.

Like I always say, "Strength is the power to bounce back after failing and falling."

True enough, in this broken down world, where they are so many broken down and lost people, we'd got to be strong in what we believe in, in your moral values.

What is it that you believe in?
What is it that you'll stand for?
What is it that brought you to where you are?
    What caused it?

    You know the answer.

You're more than enough for me.
    Beautiful love;

    Beauty.

    Khalil Gibran, (1883 - 1931)
Beauty is not in the face; beauty is a light in the heart.

    Anonymous
It's beauty that captures your attention; personality which captures your heart.

Truly, I agree with them very, very much.

    - You may be a pretty, beautiful, handsome, charming, whatever-is-good person on first look, when coming to know you, know your character and personality, if there's no light in the heart, no good personality, no character, things change.

    - You may be an average-looking person, yet you have confidence, when people come to know you, know of your character and personality, everything will just show out. The charisma, the attractiveness, the character, the good personality, everything, things change as well.

Well, beauty is a very subjective term. It means something different to different people.

    JUST BE THE REAL YOU.

*Every simple thing can be a challenge. Accept it, and go for it.

    LOVE.

Go people, go watch this VIDEO - http://www.cultureunplugged.com/play/1081/Chicken-a-la-Carte#videoDetail
It's a true story. Hopefully, it can inspire you and bring a revelation to you somehow.

I was just thinking about the love between people, human beings for the past week or so, 'cos something hit me real hard about it, as to what I see and feel.
Even people from the same roots, from the same 'house', from a same 'whatever-you-call-it-place' ('cos I don't know how to explain it), there are dislikes, wrong impressions and etc that caused 'something', and probably relationships to be broken down.

If we don't really know someone, are we right to just judge them, condemn them, based on what we've heard about them, or on what we've seen them done just based on first impression?

A lot of people would probably have gone through this, or done this.
Seriously, I myself had done it also.
But now, I seriously don't wanna go through it, or do it anymore. 'Cos I understand that not-very-good feeling of it.

If only people can be unjudgemental, uncondemning; if only people can show more love, show more care and patience in wanting to know more, getting to know that particular someone; if only people can just put on a smile on their faces to show interest, then, can strong, solid relationships be built?

    I think it's a YES.
    Just the love for people.

    1 Cor 13:4-7, 8(a), 13 (NIV)
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

    Love never fails.
And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

And so coincidentally, during the meeting yesterday, it was talking about LOVE as well!
Seriously, we got to deal with it.
Really, anything can fail us, human intellectual, pride, self thinking, etc, it all can fail us, bring disappointment to us, but yes-ly and surely, LOVE NEVER FAILS.

It can be something that can seem so simple.
But it isn't something that's so easy to practise, to do, to attain.
It's not a task that you can just fulfill like that.

It takes effort, it takes time, it takes your heart.

    Decentralised Service + Human Monopoly!

Sat was the Decentralised Service for IC and MJ zone.
    And the theme was Retro.
Seriously, I didn't know how to dress up for it. The idea only came because of a girl I saw in school on Fri. Haha.

    An and I.
    Limei & Yaowen.
    The ladies.
    Fen and I.
    Retro Queen.
During one of the games, where the pics we took have to be exactly the same as the question set~

Look at Yun's little head! Haha.
Group pic while waiting for bus.

I didn't manage to stay till the end of the whole activity, though we did reach the last station.
Went home and needed to go for a RC event, something like Durians' and Tropical Fruits Buffet.
Had a great time eating them! Muahahaha!

JJ 林俊杰 & 何耀珊 - 信心旅行

JJ 林俊杰 & 何耀珊 - 信心旅行
    A very hopeful song! :D

Fri Morning, 03.07.09, 07.15am, before school.
A bird, prob a pigeon, actually committed suicide, by banging its head against my bedroom's window pane. I heard a loud bang, and my bro, who happened to be wanting to wake me up for school, saw that it was a BIRD.
When I reached home, he told me that as he walked to school, and walked past the area right below our flat, he saw a dead bird lying in a pool of blood. When he walked home after school, the dead bird was gone.

Well, seriously, what's happening to the animals nowadays?
It was a frog at about 12plus am, and now, it's a bird.

Disgusted, stepped on a frog that was hopping around in the dark 'cos it escaped from the tank.
    I didn't kill it though.
After switching on the lights, I see that it was still hoping around!
I think I'll need to sanitise my feet. HAHA.

Right now, I'm practising to make dolphin sound aka 海豚音.
And seriously, it's irritating to others. HAHA.

    I'm 模仿-ing 周嘟嘟 as well!
Can't do Auntie Lucy anymore, 'cos the side part of my hair is gone.... Haha.

    Listen to his!
    VITAS - Smile.
    Charismatic. Sexy Voice.

    卢廣仲!

    Funny thing of the day:
My dad bought frogs for the fish to eat, and one of the frogs actually managed to escape and jumped to his room. It went under the bed.
My dad got my bro and sis to help carry the whole bed + the bedframe, which is super heavy!
And they did manage to do it, while my dad caught the frog after a long time!

After it, he said, "This is the most useful thing you both have done since birth!"
    SUPER COMICAL!

    A GREAT team!

Accomodated Ralph, and I half-squated, he gave me the "I can't be bothered." look. Haha.
    Marcus and I - MANLOOK

Finally, Business Project is sort of over!!!
Thank God for a good project team! :D
Got to understand them, know some little secrets, etc. Quite a fun group to be with as well.

But, there's Wrtoral coming up now!
And seriously it's killing my brain cells.
But, it got me to role play somehow. I was feeling very much like a scientist/entrepreneur/"questioner"!

Met Wing after project, and together with Jun Wen, they bought my belated birthday gift.
Nice bag indeed! Wing bought the same bag for herself as well!
    Thanks ah~ :D :D

Went for a haircut today, and my hair's seriously short now!
My head feels so light now!
