Go people, go watch this VIDEO -
http://www.cultureunplugged.com/play/1081/Chicken-a-la-Carte#videoDetail It's a true story. Hopefully, it can inspire you and bring a revelation to you somehow.
I was just thinking about the love between people, human beings for the past week or so, 'cos something hit me real hard about it, as to what I see and feel.
Even people from the same roots, from the same 'house', from a same 'whatever-you-call-it-place' ('cos I don't know how to explain it), there are dislikes, wrong impressions and etc that caused 'something', and probably relationships to be broken down.
If we don't really know someone, are we right to just judge them, condemn them, based on what we've heard about them, or on what we've seen them done just based on first impression?
A lot of people would probably have gone through this, or done this.
Seriously, I myself had done it also.
But now, I seriously don't wanna go through it, or do it anymore. 'Cos I understand that not-very-good feeling of it.
If only people can be unjudgemental, uncondemning; if only people can show more love, show more care and patience in wanting to know more, getting to know that particular someone; if only people can just put on a smile on their faces to show interest, then, can strong, solid relationships be built?
I think it's a
YES.
Just the love for people.1 Cor 13:4-7, 8(a), 13 (NIV)Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
And so coincidentally, during the meeting yesterday, it was talking about LOVE as well!
Seriously, we got to deal with it.
Really, anything can fail us, human intellectual, pride, self thinking, etc, it all can fail us, bring disappointment to us, but yes-ly and surely, LOVE NEVER FAILS.
It can be something that can seem so simple.
But it isn't something that's so easy to practise, to do, to attain.
It's not a task that you can just fulfill like that.
It takes effort, it takes time, it takes your heart.Labels: Love, people, revelation, thoughts
