Wing is SERIOUSLY making me fall in love with him man!

And yeah, thursday wasn't a good day for me.
    Seriously, I'm disappointed.

Came back home still must take this nonsense from my sister.
And this hurts me a lot.

    期望越高,失望越大。
--> Direct translation : The higher the expectations, the bigger(higher) the disappointment.
    Indeed, this is true.

And wing, we very got 缘分 hor, even though we boarded the same bus to school, we didn't manage to meet each other.
Instead, we met after school, when you were just walking by, then went to the same canteen for lunch, seated table beside table!
    Haha.

And yeah, NANCHOS from PHUA! Muahahaha!

    A letter to my Mum

    Dear Mum,
A Happy Mother's Day to you, Mum!
Thanks for always being by my side, being so forgiving, always tolerating my nonsense and my wilfulness.
    Seriously,
I know you may not get to see this anyway, but you may, someday.

I know things hasn't been going well for you these past months in the family, at your work.
    Financially, business-wise, relationship, etc.
The finance problems of the family are already making your head so big already, what's more to say, providing the needs of the family.

Thanks for sharing with me what you're going through. It's been a long, long time since we'd done such sharing.
I know the family is going through a lot at this period, including your relationship with dad, and you don't want to worry the three of us. That's why you don't say much to us.
    But well, we're a family.
I'm sure we can share and talk it out.

Just wanna say that you'll have my support in those new changes that we're gonna face!
We shall remain a family too!
    I love you, Mum.

I thank God for a Mum like her, though facing a lot, she's strong.
    She's determined and responsible.
    She chose to stay on.

Please God, protection come upon her.

    Family Lunch

FINALLY, HAD MY FAMILY BUFFET LUNCH @ Sakura Tampines Safra with my family!

It was really a great great time spent with them!
I tell you, the last time I remembered having such family activities, was like such a long, long time ago.

Although it was me paying with my hard-earned money, I was quite happy and glad with it.
It's really this type of relationships I treasure.

Even saw a few friends of mine there with their family too.
What a coincidence, what a small world.

    Haha.
    Pics to be posted soon!

First day + Second day of the wake

Yesterday was the first day of the wake.
    Woke up rather early too.

Had a great breakfast with family at a nearby coffeeshop, before we cabbed down in 2 cabs to the place.

Mum spoke a lot of things to me.
She was like saying how peaceful ah gong's death was.
He passed away only after he'd seen ah ma, just like sleeping.

    It really touched me.
    Their LOVE STORY.

In short : AH GONG passed away really peacefully.
And this is something that we should be relieved of.

There were lots of things to do there.
    Learnt quite some things too.
Ah boy kor kor thought me and bee hoon how to fold '元宝(don't know correct not, haha)' using the paper.
Bee hoon aka SIAO ZHA BOR number 2 = Hui Yun
    Bee hoon was really funny.
I'd thought I was slow, but she was even slower.

But, for folding the even easier shapes, I took sooo long to understand it.
She at first thought it was tough, in the end, she asked around, and SIAO ZHA BOR number 1 was like laughing so soooo loudly about it!!
SIAO ZHA BOR number 1 = Ah Bee

And of course, I was known as SIAO ZHA BOR number 3 = me.
    Haha.

Saw cousins that I haven't seen for a long time, and had small little chats with them.

Came back at around 8+ with my sis, and reached home around 9.15pm?
Wanted to finish all my homework due the next day.
In the end, just by sitting down and doing it, I was like dozing off.

My dad was like chasing me to go to bed.
I was just trying my best to stay awake, but to no avail.
In the end, without finishing my work, I went to bed.

Today, the second day, didn't go to school, for I couldn't get up, and my whole body is aching like don't know what.
    And so did my sis!
Only my bro went to school, for he came back super early with dad yesterday.

I saw my grandfather's 'obituary/death notice' at the chinese newspaper - 联合早报 .
    At least he 子孙满堂.

FACT OF THE DAY: His 2 daughters - my 阿姨 and my mum, actually both married men of the same surname = !

It was really nice seeing all his 外孙子女 all with the surname 杨.
I know it's kinda random. Haha.

Did some stuffs for mum, and went for lunch outside.
    Did some marketing.

Came back home since, and had been at this post.
Li Wei came and visited me.
Thanks a lot for that chat!

Well, I just want to thank all who've been with me, encouraging me, consoling me, etc!
    I am fine!
    THANK YOU!

    Thank you ,
    my CG,
my close friend (you'd a post at your blog) - YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE,
    my classmates, and gang,
    TSZ WING,
    Belinda,
    my family,

    Nicole,
    and to everyone else!!!!!

    Love you all.

I will move on with life.

    Surrending it all to You.......
I surrender all and I will follow You.
I surrender all and bring my life to You.
I surrender all and live my life for You.
I surrender all, I surrender all,
    to You Jesus.

    阿公 and 大舅

Granddad and First Uncle were both hospitalized at the same time yesterday night.
They went into the same hospital, stayed on the same floor, was in the same ward, just across each other.

In real life, they stayed just next to each other, and now, even in the hospital, they are just nearby.
My mum said it's just such... an irony?

Well, both conditions were rather serious.

One suddenly had a fever, after the other one had his body temperature back, after losing it.
My mum made it sound so scary.

Too bad I can't go and see them.
    It's all too sudden.

    The Vulnerability of Life

In life, we face a lot of problems.
In life, we face this thing called death.

    People come and people go.
When it's time, they'll just leave.

Had a small chat with mum this morning, before going to bed (I slept at 3am) .
Though it was short, it was good.

I came to know of situation from my maternal family's side.
Some serious, some cute and funny, some happy.

Anson was really cute, with what he did.
Cousin Ah Bee is getting married.
Granddad, and First Uncle, as well as Small Uncle - serious.

Just had to be prepared for anything that may be coming along the way.

Once, First Uncle suddenly began biting his own tongue all of a sudden, and he seemed like he's in a trance or something like that.
Luckily, my cousin who went to check on him, saw this, and screamed, and everyone came rushing in to stop him.

When he finally came beck to his right mind, he said he don't know what went on just now.
And, he can't remember a thing.
My mum told me that it was the 牛头马面, coming to take his life (my mum isn't a believer yet), and my uncle was just fighting back.

He's still alive now, but he's really weak physically, and he's also very skinnier.

As for my ah gong, it was in the year 2004, when I was in primary 6, when he was diagnosed with a cancer, he really fought a real good battle against it, and he won.
This year, another big incident happened, and he won the battle too.

And now, he's just getting weaker and skinnier day by day.
The doc said we can only take a step by a step each day.

As for my smallest uncle, it's due to his lifestyle, and he's diagnosed with liver cirrhosis.

    Life is just so vulnerable.
    Anything can happen to anyone.

    Really treasure whatever you have.
Don't wait till it's all too late.

Father's Day, Siblings' Day (: + GET FAT DAY ):

I tell you, this is one of the best Father's Day that I've ever celebrated.
It's also one of the best Siblings' Day that I've had.
It's also one of the Eat-Most-You-Can Day that I've ever had.

The best Siblings' Day was really great.
I seldom get to spend time with my brother and sister.

But today, 'cos we had to meet Aunt Nannette, we spent a great deal of time together.
We met Aunt at her workplace, and it's my first time there man.
Anyhow walked, but luckily, still reached there somehow.

At the arena, a few teenagers were dancing for the cosplay thingy.
    Cool.
Well, her workplace was even cooler!!!!!

Then we went to have our lunch, then walk walk, bought lots of things.
    .............

Aunt went to work, and the SIBLINGS TEAM went around almost the whole of Chinatown, eating, drinking, and we almost got lost.
    But, it was really fun!!!!!

    We ate, we drank.
Ice-cream, baos, birds' nest drink, bandung, etc.

We bought our parents gifts, for mother's day (super belated), and father's day.
[Will post the pics up asap.]

We went back tampines, bought lots of stuffs from the ntuc, went home, and began our.....

    " POTATO FEAST " .

Real fun messing around the kitchen.
    Bro - Shepard's Pie
    Sis - Barley Drink, Rice
    Me - Potato Salad

After eating (the drink and the dessert wasn't finished), I was so BLOATED , and not only me, Dad, Bro, and Sis were all bloated, and we just wanted to sit, and stay on the sofa without moving.

Watched Charlie and the Chocolate Factory together.

Guess the present we gave mum and dad was so special.
    Haha.
Mum was like, "Did you guys specially ask someone to get it overseas?"
Dad was like so quiet, didn't say anything much. (typical chinese man)
But, I know he's touched in his heart.

    It's a blessed day afterall.
Feel so blessed to be part of this family.
    Love them all.
    Thank God. (:

    Oh man.
Still gonna wake up so early for the Music Camp later on.
    It's really early. Haha.

Hopefully, movie-ing tonight can destress me.

    Fill my heart.

    Sunday, May 18, 2008

    This past week.

    Monday:
    Went to sing K.
[pics are posted at the previous, previous post]

    Tuesday:
Went swimming with dearest Wui An.
A great time spent fellowshipping with her too. (:
    [some pics taken after swimming]

    Wednesday:
    Just as per normal.
    Nothing much.

    Thursday:
Went gym with dearest Wan Lin.
Saw 2 BVs of Church, June and Brandon.

    Friday:
    No HCL lessons.
So, after school, actually wanted to go and shop for a gift, but couldn't find anything suitable.
Then went to the Mac at TM to eat ice-cream.
    [some pics]

Upon going home, saw Mum cooking!
Finally, I get to have a homecooked meal (after a long, long time).
Though the meal was simple, it was GREAT!

    Saturday:
    Went for Service.

Stepping on the bus, I felt something was amiss.
Went to the back row to sit, while just walking to the back seats, I didn't notice this sharp thing that was sticking out, and my pants got stuck there.
It TORE, but thank God I wasn't injured!
His protection was with me! Hallelujah!

Pic of the day. This is cool art! Haha.

    Sunday:
Stayed home, and sewed my torn pants.

    Before:

    After:

I'm gonna talk about "The Spoon".

Thinking if I should play for a concert.
A rare chance - being invited!
It's a paying performance also! - can earn a little money.
And, I'll be shining for God also.

    It's just for 3 weeks.
But, that means I'll need to go for 3 weeks of make-up CGM.

    HOW HOW?
Oh God, help me make a decision.
